The officers of Tbilisi police department and Isani-Samgori police division as a result of the jointly held operative-investigative activities detained Andro M. (DoB 1961) for premeditated murder and illegal purchase and keeping of the firearm. Investigation established that detainee murdered Giorgi B. (DoB 1977) with a single shot made from his own firearm and wounded Zurab B. (DoB 1989) in leg area.
In the moment of detention Andro M. offered resistance to police officers and got a minor injury. Their condition of health is stable at the moment. Both of them are getting medical treatment. The weapon of crime has been seized from the place of crime as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (108 article) and illegal purchase and keeping of firearm (article 236).
