The officers of Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Mikheil G. (DoB 1994) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that late at night on August 30, detainee inflicted multiple injuries with a knife to Dachi D. (DoB 1979) on the basis of conflict in vicinities of Avlabari Square, who was transferred to Ingorokva clinic. Several hours lated the victim died due to the sustained traumas. Mikheil G. was detained at the place of crime by the law enforcers. The weapon of murder was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
