The officers of Tbilisi Police Main Division and Isani-Samgori police as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Zaza G. for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that under the alcohol influence Zaza G. inflicted injury with a cold steel to the saleswoman Liana B. (DoB 1942) at one of the sstores located in Orkhevei settlement on the basis of conflict. Due to the received injury the victim died at the place of crime.
As a result of immediate activities law enforcers detained Zaza G. in Tbilisi several hours later after the crime took place. The weapon of murder has already been seized by the law enforcers.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
