The officers of Detective’s division of Tbilisi Police Main Division detained previously four times convicted Arsen L. (DoB 1979) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee murdered his neighbor in her own apartment located in Avtchala settlement. Liana B. (DoB 1958) sustained a lethal injury and Arsen L. fled from the place of crime.
As a result of immediate operative-searching activities law enforcers managed to detain Arsen L. in several hours after the crime took place. The weapon of murder was also seized by police.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
