The officers of Operative-Investigation Main Office of the MIA Border Police of Georgia as a result of operative-searching activities detained citizens of Georgia: Vitali Sh. (DoB 1980) and Gela G. (DoB 1987) and citizen of Russia Nazim K. (DoB 1989) for attempted illegal crossing of State Border of Georgia by a group and attempting to take a migrant covertly across the state border in Akhaltsikhe region, and pressed charges against citizen of Russia Taisia K. for the same crime.
Investigation established, that Vitali Sh. And Gela G. in a certain amount of cash were trying to cross the State Border of Georgia illegally without official border control and assisting Nazim K. and Taisia K. along with their underage children to cross the border in the direction of Republic of Turkey.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal crossing of the Georgian State Border by a group and attempting to take a migrant covertly across the state border (Article 19-344 prima-1, part I, subparagraph “B” and article 19-344, part I, subparagraph “A”) Investigation is carried out by Operative-Investigation Main Office of the MIA Border Police of Georgia.
