The officers of Mestia police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained L.Ch. in Mestia for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized Makarov pistol, 2 cartridges and 22 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and ammunition, article 236, III part of the Criminal Code.
