The officers of Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted Vakhtang J. (DoB 1988) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized unregistered “AKM” automatic weapon with one magazine and 46 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
