The officers of the Shida Kartli police department along with Patrol Police officers of Shida kartli division, as a result of operative-investigative activities have exposed facts of illegal wood processing, transportation and selling as well as fact of violation of terms of the license, illegal Entrepreneurial activity and illegal possession of the wood.
Officers of Gori division of Shida Kartli police department exposed K.Ts. (DoB 1983) for Illicit Entrepreneurial Activity and seized illegally cut wood from his vehicle, which was moving from Borjomi to Tbilisi direction. Investigation is in progress on the fact of Illicit Entrepreneurial Activity, article 192, I part of the criminal Code.
On the fact of possession of illegally obtained wood, Shida Kartli police department officers exposed L.K. (DoB 1982) and seized illegally obtained wood from his vehicle, which was sbeing transported without relevant documents. Investigation is in progress on the fact of possession of illegally obtained wood, article 86, I part of the Code.
On the fact of illegal cutting of the bushes and plants law enforcers detained T.A. (DoB 1982) who transported wood planks. Investigation is in progress on the fact of Illegal Cutting of Bushes and Plants, article 303 of the criminal Code.
Herewith, police also exposed 4 persons for violation of regulations for transportation and realization of the cut wood.
Qareli police division of Shida Kartli police department along with the Patrol Police officers exposed B.P. (DoB 1978) for illegal transportation of the cut wood. The exposed person transported the wood planks from Borjomi to the direction of Tbilisi.
On the same charges the officers of Gori police division of Shida Kartli police department exposed Z.K. who transported wood without relevant documentation.
Facts of the illegal transportation were also uncovered in Khidistavi, where police officers exposed G.V. (DoB 1999) and G.A. (DoB 1992) for transporting wood without relevant documentation.
On all of the cases, exposed persons will be fined in accordance with the Code of Administrative Code of Offences, article 182, (2) II and IV parts of the Criminal Code.
