The officers of the Police Department of Shida Kartli and Kaspi Regional Division, as a result of joint immediate operative-investigative activities, detained Zurab P. (DoB 1987) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that the detainee – as a result of a quarrel - physically assaulted the man (born in 1971) in Zemo Khandaki, Kaspi region, then strangled him with hands and fled from the scene. Police detained Zurab P half an hour later from the time of commitment of crime. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
