The officers of Shida Kartli Regional Main Division and with Kaspi regional police unit, as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities, detained previously convicted for armed robbery and three times convicted for stealing- Merab M. (DoB 1973) in Kaspi for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that Merab M. under the influence of alcohol murdered his brother-in-law Vazha B. with a knife (DoB 1967) on the basis of conflict. The murder took place on King Mirian Street N47, Kaspi.
The weapon of murder was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
