The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Division and Counter terrorist Center as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted for armed assault and other grave crimes Temur G. (DoB 1972) in Rukhi village for being a “thief in law” and illegal purchase and keeping of drugs.
Investigation established that Temur G. entered Georgia from the occupied territory of Abkhazia. In the moment of detention police seized drug substance from Temur G. drug test revealed that detainee was a drug consumer. Temur G. has admitted being a “thief in law”.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and on the fact of being a “thief in law” article 223, II part and article 260, I part of the Criminal Code.
