The officers of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Giorgi Ch. (DoB 1980) for premeditated murder. Investigation established that detainee wounded father and son- Nodar E. (DoB 19859) and Jaba E. (DoB 1988) witn a cold steel and fled from the place of crime. The incident took place in the village of Gurjaani, district Gurjaani. Due to the multiple injuries Jaba E. died as soon as he was admitted at the hospital. As a result of investigative activities held by the law enforcers Giorgi Ch. was detained in Gurjaani the next day. Detainee has already pleaded guilty. Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
