The officers of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Anzor S. (DoB 1952) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that in nakhunao village, Martvili detainee wounded his neighbor Mamuka S. (DoB 1973) in chest area with a hunting rifle. Due to the received traumas the victim died at the place of crime, while another victim Giorgi C. (DoB 1976) was badly wounded in head area. At this moment he is transferred to the hospital.
As a result of the immediate activities law enforcers detained Anzor S.severala hours later in Martvili. Detainee has already pleaded guilty. The weapon of murder was seized by police.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 18 of the Criminal Code.
