The officers of the Detectives Division and Didube-Chughureti Division of Tbilisi Police Department as a result of joint operative-investigative activities detained Abram Z. (DoB 1976) for premeditated murder in Tbilisi.
It was established that the detainee inflicted lethal injury with a firearm in head to his ex-wife Lia T. (DoB 1984) on February 6 in the vicinity of Uplistsikhe street, Kukia settlement, Tbilisi and fled from the scene. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained Abram Z. in a few hours. The weapon of murder – Makarov pistol - was seized by police as an evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms (article 108, article 236, parts II and III of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
