The officers of Ajara Department of Central Criminal Police Department of MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained citizen of Russian Federation Konstantin I. (Dob 1977) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
The law enforcers seized 6 packages of drug which contains 13,248 gr of amphetamine in the temporary place of residence of the detainee as well as 2,443 gr of methilo-dioxin-metamphetamine which was wrapped in 3 packages.
According to the drug test results Konstantine A. was under the drug influence in the moment of his detention.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities (article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A).
