The officers of Ajara division of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Sopio V. (DoB 1980) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s apartment law enforcers seized drug substance wrapped in 29 packages. According to the results of expertise the amount of the seized substance is 11,642 gr which contained 2,441gr of heroin.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
