The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigataive activities detained previously convicted G.Sh. (DoB 1966) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee and search activities held in his house, law enforcers seized 57 pills containing 0,47122 gr. buprenorphine, 7 pills containing 0,276942gr. of methadone drug and 56,3 of powder containing 6,619844 gr. of heroin.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A and part VI, sub-paragraph A of the criminal Code.
