The officers of the Detectives Division of Tbilisi Main Division, Patrol Police Department and Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia as a result of joint operative-investigative activities detained 3 citizens of Nigeria - Ehis Treisi O. (date of birth: 1980), Nzechi Blessing U. (Date of birth: 1984) and Valentine Chibuike E. (Date of birth:1987) - on the fact of illegal restriction of freedom by the use of violence dangerous for the health and life by a group`s conspiracy, encouragement of drug export from Georgia and illegal purchase, keeping and sale of narcotics in especially large quantities, while the citizen of Georgia Oksana B. (Date of birth 1976) was detained in Tbilisi on the fact of purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantity.
The investigation established that the citizens of Nigeria in the flat of Oksana B., located in Metekhi Street, handed over the narcotic means prepared for transportation to Turkey. In a few days they visited Oksana B. and asked her to give them the money or return drugs. The above mentioned persons argued for a while and later the citizens of Nigeria illegally restricted the freedom to Oksana B. using violence dangerous for her health.
On the basis of operative information and conducted investigative activities, during the search of the flat of Oksana B. the law enforcement officers seized drugs, which by the decision of the expertise conducted, amount to 158, 3277 gr. of cocaine. During the search of Nzechi Blessing U. - 4,5911 gr. while during the search of Valentine Chibuike E.- 5,0521 gr. of cocaine were seized. The drug test made to Oksana B. confirmed the fact of the use of cocaine.
The investigation against Oksana B. is conducted on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of narcotics in especially large quantity (sub clause “a”, Part III of the Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia), while investigation against Ehis Treisi O., Nzechi Blessing U. and Valentine Chibuike E.is conducted on the facts of illegal purchase, keeping and sale of narcotics in especially large quantities, encouragement of drug export from Georgia and illegal restriction of freedom by the use of violence dangerous for the health and life by a group`s conspiracy (sub clause “a” and “e”, Part III of the Article 143, sub clause “a” and “b”, Part II of the Article 260, sub clause “b”, Part II of the Article 25-262 and sub clause “a”, Part IV of the Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
