The officers of Khelvachauri police division of Ajara Regional Main Division, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Koba S. in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the detainee’s personal search law enforcers seized 12 packages of narcotic, containing 2,073gr of heroin according to the results of expertise. Koba S. has pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
