The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching activities detained Asip M. (DoB 1974) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s apartment law enforcers seized 31 packages of drug, which according to expertise contains heroin, weighing 2,5982 gr. Drug test revealed that detainee was methadone-addicted person.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code. Investigation is conducted by Central Criminal Police Department.
