The officers of Batumi police first division of Ajara police department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Turkish citizen Ilmaz T. (DoB 1988) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During searching activities held in detainee’s apartment located in Batumi, law enforcers seized 36 pills of the so called ecstasy pills which according to the expertise contains 1,016 gr of the drug substance. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
