The officers of Poti police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Irakli L. (DoB 1988) for armed robbery.
Investigation established that on December 10 two persons with masks assaulted “Vissoli” petrol station and appropriated 244 GEL from the station workers. Offenders also attempted to break the safe with hammer located in one of the rooms of the station building but failed and left the crime scene.
Law enforcers detained Irakli L. as a result of operative activities. during the personal search of the detainee policemen seized 8,02 gr of marijuana as well as masks and hammer in his house.
At this moment law enforcers are holding special activities in order to identify and located other person involved in the mentioned crime.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery and illegal purchase an keeping of drugs, article 179, II part, sub-paragraph B and article 260 I part of the Criminal Code.
