The officers of the Borjomi police division of Samtskhe-Javakheti police department as a result of operative-investigative activities brought 18 persons for damaging other’s property. the following persons have been detained: Andro K. (DoB 1987) Teimuraz K. (DoB 1980) Vakhtang Q. (DoB 1992) Andro Ts. (DoB 1980) Tariel G. (DoB 1992 Zurab Q. (DoB 1980) Mamuka Ch. (DoB 1975) Giorgi Ch. (DoB 1976) Irakli M. (DoB 1984) Besarion B. (DoB 1979) DaviT Kh. (DoB 1990) Giorgi Kh. (DoB 1976) Bachuki Kh. (DoB 1993) Giorgi Kh. (DoB 1980) Tengiz Q. (DoB 1991) Giorgi Q. (DoB 1985) Zurab N. (DoB 1980) Teimuraz Ts. (DoB 1983) while four more persons- Shmagi K. (DoB 1985) Malkhaz K. (DoB 1988) Zaur K. (DoB 1987) and Valeriane T. (DoB 1969) were brought to justice.
Investigation established that the accused persons illegally appropriated the so called “black soil” from the bed of the railway and thus caused financial damage to the “Georgian Railway” in the amount of 9309 GEL and 19 Tetris. Law enforcers already seized the so called “black soil” as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of damaging other’s property which caused substantial damage, article 187, I part which envisages from 1 to 3 years of imprisonment.
