The officers of Isani-Samgori police division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Giorgi T. (DoB 1970) in Tbilisi for robbery.
Investigation established that detainee stole handbag from the vehicle in which 110 GEL, two gold necklaces and personal documents were kept. The incident took place on Javakheti Street, Tbilisi.
As a result of searching activities Giorgi T. was detained three days later after committing robbery. Investigation established that detainee pawned the stolen items in various pawn shops located in Tbilisi. Police seized both of the jewelry items as evidence from one of the pawn shops. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of robbery, article 178, Ii part of the Criminal Code.
