The officers of Imereti regional division of Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Tariel S. (DoB 1973) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
On Ingorokva Street, Kutaisi, law enforcers seized 293 bullets of AKM automatic weapon and 260 bullets for carabine shotgun.
Results of expertise revealed that all of the seized bullets are usable.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
