The officers of 3rd unit of Isani-Samgori main division as a result of searching-investigative activities detained Giorgi N. (DoB 1986) in Tbilisi for stealing from MP Giorgi Kandelaki.
Investigation established that in the afternoon, on June 8th the detainee stole “Apple” portable computer and private documents from Giorgi Kandelaki’s car , parked on Bogdan Khmelnitski street and fled from the crime scene.
Law enforcers detained Giorgi N. as a result of investigative-searching activities several hours later after the crime took place. As a result of personal search of the detainee, officers seized victim’s stolen items – computer and private documents – as evidence.
The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing, article 177, Part I of the Criminal Code.
