The officers of Zugdidi Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the MIA as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained Giga Sh. (D.o.B.: 19863) in Tsalenjikha.
Investigation established that on April 9 the detainee wounded his fellow villager Zaza Kh (D.o.B.: 1987) in Jikhashkari village, Zugdidi region with a hunting gun as a result of a quarrel and fled from a scene.
As a result of immediate operative and investigative activities law enforcers detained Giga Sh. in several hours. Police seized the hunting gun as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of intentional less grave bodily injury, article 118 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
