The officers of the Central criminal Police Department of MIA along with the State Security Agency as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Iranian citizen H.Q. (DoB 1956) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee and searching activities held in detainees apartment police officers seized 22 pills of methadone drug and pieces of the same narcotic as well as 22 pills of buprenorphine and 14 packages of heroin.
Drug test revealed that H.Q was a drug addicted person.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
