The officers of Achara Main Division under MIA, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Nika Sh. (DoB 1993) for the attempted murder.
Investigation established, that the detainee on the basis of conflict inflicted one injury with cold steel in chest area to Giorgi B. (DoB 1992) on Lermontov Street in Batumi and fled from the crime scene. The wounded person was transferred by ambulance to Batumi Referral Hospital, where he underwent the urgent surgery.
Law enforcers detained Nika Sh. in Batumi in several hours after committing the crime as a result of investigative and searching activities. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted murder. (Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
