The officers of Sagarejo police unit of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of special activities held on the basis of operative information detained several times convicted in past Ramil A . (DoB 1980) for illegal purchase, keeping and production of firearms and ammunition.
As a result of searching activities held in detainee’s house located in Iormugalo village law enforcers seized an unregistered AKM automatic weapon, handmade barrel, 126 bullets, three magazines, two F-1 hand grenade and etc.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and production of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
