The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Main Regional division Detained Mamuka Kh (DoB 1967) in Zugdidi as a result of searching-investigative activities held on the basis of operative information for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities. Law enforcers seized 13 packages of drug and a syringe full of drug substance ready for use as a result of detainee’s personal and car search. The expertise results revealed, that the packages contained 2,8748 gr. heroin. Drug test result revealed that Mamuka Kh had consumed heroin. The detainee has already pleaded guilty. Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs, article 260, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
