The Delegation of the French National Police payed an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The members of the Delegation had meeting with Mr. Ivane Papiashvili, the Head of the Central Criminal Police Department and other representatives of the same Department. The sides discussed the importance of joint efforts in the fight against organized crime, as well as capabilities of strengthening cooperation in this field.
Also, the guest held meetings with the Head of the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Georgia and the Head of Tbilisi Main Division. The sides expressed hope that the existing cooperation in law enforcement field will be further strengthened in the future.
The members of French delegation visited the criminalistics laboratory of the MIA, two divisions of Tbilisi Main Division, the Emergency Response Center "112" and the Service Agency of the MIA.
