On August 11 Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mghebrishvili visited police officer Malkhaz Kavtaradze at the hospital who was wounded while exposing drug related crime in Ponitchala. Minister had a conversation with wounded police officer, wished him recovery and pledged full support. Malkhaz Kavtaradze underwent immediate surgery and at this moment his life is no longer in danger.
