Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Levan Izoria presented “Police Regulation Justice” - master’s program to the media representatives and familiarized them with the importance and aim of the mentioned program. The mentioned program is an unprecedented in Georgia which is oriented on the prevention of violations.
During presentation Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs stated that Academy received status of high educational facility and added that master’s program will start on fall of the current year. The program is out of any charges. Persons willing to undergo the mentioned program should own bachelor’s diploma in law and who have already passed exam for master’s program.
“Police Regulation Justice” is aimed at training persons with academic education for being employed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs with relevant skills and knowledge in order to operate relevantly and preserve the supremacy of law, democratic and human values.
Deputy Minister has underlined that students with bachelor’s diploma will undergo 2 year master’s program at police academy and have a real perspective to be employed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Admissions for the master’s program will last till 18 September of the current year.
After the presentation of the master’s program representatives of the academy hosted journalists at the academy, during the tour journalists viewed the imitated shooting range, classes, gym, and academy infrastructure-conference hall, library, mock jury court and etc.
