Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with the high officials of US State of Georgia. The members of the delegation are the Chiefs of Police, Bureau of Investigation of the State of Georgia and representatives of the Bureau of International Narcotics and law enforcement (INL).
In the framework of the visit members of delegation will get acquainted with work specifics of the Ministry, visit different police units, 112- emergency response center and k9 Unit.
The ministry has been cooperating with INL office for several years. During the cooperation a number of projects and trainings have been conducted on the issues of trafficking in human beings, domestic violence, fight against illicit drugs, development of K9 unit, etc. Most of the trainings are held with the support of instructors from the State of Georgia, US.
