The meeting of the inter-agency coordination council for the fight against organized crime was held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Chairman of the Council - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze.
Within the framework of the meeting, the members of the coordination council discussed measures implemented by the state agencies in the direction of the fight against organized crime. Parties also discussed the necessary measures for the development of 2025-2028 strategy and 2025-2026 action plan for the fight against organized crime and the issue of updating the working groups.
The first deputy head of the State Security Service, the Deputy Minister of Justice, the Deputy Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, the State Security Service and the Special Penitentiary Service participated in the meeting of the Coordination Council.
