Representatives of Central Criminal Police Department, Migration Department and Reforms and Development Agency met with members of General Directorate of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey.
At the meeting guests familiarized Georgian side with the structure and areas of competence of their agency, legislation existing tendencies and challenges in the field of fight against trafficking. Sides discussed activities conducted by the Georgian and Turkish parties regarding the fight against trafficking and programs aimed for the protection of trafficking victims
General Directorate of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey was founded in 2013.
