Within the framework of the information and awareness raising campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", meetings in schools continue.
The representatives of the Ministry held meetings with pupils in N1 and N3 public schools of Borjomi, Samtskhe-Javakheti.
The goal of informational meetings is to raise awareness among schoolchildren on public safety and rule of law, as well as prevention of crimes committed by minors and against them.
Employees of the Patrol Police, Criminal Police, Public Safety Command Center "112", Emergency Situations Management Service, and the Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department provided juveniles with information on various topics relevant to them regarding law and order, including children's rights, early marriage and about its harm, bullying, violence and organized crime. At the meetings, the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented special video depicting the activities of various structural units of the agency.
The meetings were held in Q &A format. The law enforcement officers provided comprehensive answers to all questions raised at the meeting.
