The Employees of Special Tasks Department and Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have been participated in Antiterrorist International Exercise organized in Ankara, Turkey. The Exercise was implemented in the framework of Educational Cooperation Memorandum between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The Exercise included theoretical as well as practical aspects. The practical course was divided in two stages. First stage included attack simulation exercises on bus and automobile, whereas the second stage included attack simulation on train and airplane. The main aim of the course was to identify and disarm the terrorist, also to helilift of the personnel to the destination and evacuation from the place of crime. With Georgian Law Enforcers the representatives of other Countries’ Law Enforcement Agencies graduated this course, which was aimed the development theoretical and practical skills to combat against the terrorism.
