On September 18-20, in Batumi the World Championship in Biathle and Triathle is held. On the Championship the Georgian team is presented by 67 sportsmen. One of the members of the team, Mr. Giorgi Berdzenishvili, the employee of the Information-Analytical Department on the first day of triathle mix relay race took the second place and won silver medal.
The World Championship in Biatlsa and Triathle in Georgia is held for the first time by organization of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon, Georgia Modern Pentathlon and Triathlon National Federation.
During the three days Batumi will be visited by more than 400 participants from all over the world. The participants will compete in two types of sports, namely, in biathle and triathle. The biathle covers swimming and running, while the innovative sport - triathle consists of three disciplines: running, swimming and shooting from laser gun.
