Director of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs Zurab Chabashvili met with Police and Gendarmerie attaches of the Republic of Turkey.
During the meeting visitors discussed the importance of the strategic pipelines traversing Georgia. Zurab Chabashvili introduced protection measures implemented by the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to ensure security of the pipelines.
Sides discussed a long-term fruitful cooperation in the field of security between the Republic of Turkey and Georgia and agreed on deepening relations.
