Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to inform citizens that beginning from January 15 Dariali border checkpoint will start operation in the round-the-clock regime.
The decision was made on the basis of the increased number of visitors in connection with the winter holyday resort season. The decision was also prompted as a result of the increasing number of merchandise export and traffic movement. It is also notable that visa procedures for truck drivers, willing to travel to the direction of Russian Federation were simplified.
The mentioned procedures were held for simplification of traveling of the increased number of people, both entering and leaving the state border of Georgia through Dariali border checkpoint.
