The Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted the citizens in Gori within the framework of the unified ceremonial event related to the Independence Day of Georgia.
At the event, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, together with the Governor of Shida Kartli - Levan Kharabadze, and representatives of the local government, visited the spaces arranged by various units of the Ministry.
Within the framework of the event, the guests had the opportunity to view the border police helicopter, as well as the special gear and equipment presented by various units, along with the historical installations created on the topic of Georgia's Independence Day. A number of informative, educational and entertainment spaces were arranged for children as well.
At the event dedicated to the Independence Day, the public Safety command center "112" awarded the citizens living in Shida Kartli region who demonstrated high civic responsibility and saved other people's lives.
