State of Emergency is in force until May 23, 2020, which implies restriction of a number of activities, such as:
-Assembly and Manifestation defined by the “Law on Assembly and Manifestation”;
-Conducting all types of cultural events, both indoor and outdoor spaces;
Therefore, tomorrow, on May 9 (the Victory Day over the fascism) employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will monitor entry and exit ways of Vake Park as well as the implementation of the restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency.
Herewith, it is also notable that under the article 174-16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Georgia, violation of rules defined by the Law of Georgia on Freedom Charter is prohibited, thus the use of symbols, monuments, bas-reliefs, inscriptions and names bearing the symbols of communist totalitarian and fascist ideologies is prohibited by law. Violation of the mentioned article envisages fine in the amount of 1000 GEL.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the citizens to take the restrictions into consideration, imposed within the framework of the state of emergency, otherwise, the appropriate measures provided by law will be applied.
