Saguramo police officers of Mtskheta-Mtianeti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested three persons convicted of theft in the past and currently under probation - G.Sh. (DoB 1990), B.T. (DoB 1994), and S.T. (DoB 1996).
The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the defendants secretly entered the country house belonging to A.T. located in the village of Kevliani, Mtskheta municipality, and stole household appliances and various items. Law enforcement officers arrested all three defendants shortly after committing the crime. As a result of the investigative and operational measures conducted in the case, it was also determined that the detainees robbed several country houses in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti area at different times.
The law enforcement officers recovered stolen items and household appliances from the cottages as evidence.
The investigation is being carried out under Article 177, Part III, Sub-paragraph "c" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to theft committed by illegal entry into residential place.
