The officers of Isani-Samgori police division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained S.I.(DoB 1993) A.A. (DoB 1996) and K.G. (DoB 2000) for theft in Tbilisi.
The committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that detainees, under the previous agreement, rented cars and removed catalytic converters from them which were later sold by the offenders to various car repair spots.
Law enforcers have already seized the stolen vehicle parts as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft, article 177, III part, sub-paragraph “D” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
