The officers of district Inspectors and Detectives Divisions under Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative- search and investigative activities detained, previously convicted for drug-related crime –K.Zh. (DoB 1986) in Batumi.
Detainee is accused of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in especially large and large quantities.
Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime of imprisonment.
As a result of the complex investigative activities it was established that detainee was involved in drug dealing through internet. In particular, K.ZH. placed drugs in previously arranges caches and sent locations through internet messages to those who sold them later.
Base of the respective decision of the Court law enforcers depicted the fact of illegal activities by the surveillance camera.
Law enforcers seized three packages of “heroin” and 9 pills of “Suboxin” and pieces the locations of which were disclosed by the detainee
During the personal search of the detainee, law enforcers seized 1 package of “Heroin” as evidence.
As a result of the search activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized the following drug substances: 21 pills containing Methadone, 6 packages of “Heroin”, 17 pills of “Suboxin” and pieces, one disposable syringe filled with “Heroine” substance, electro scales with “Heroin” drug place on top.
Investigation is in progress under the article 260, III part, sub-paragraph “A”, part VI, sub-paragraph “A” of the same article, article 19-260, V part, sub-paragraph “A” and article 19-260, part VI, sub-paragraph “A” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
