Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze visited children suffering from leukemia disease and wished them merry Christmas and New Year. Minister met 4 year old Giorgi Sanikidze and 7 year old Luka Bokerashvili and made their wishes come true. In their letters children asked Santa Claus for patrol police uniforms and cars. Minister handed over the anticipated presents to Luka and Giorgi. Aleksanadre Tchikaidze also met 17 year old Giorgi Kiknadze who wrote in his letter that he wished to personally meet Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Minister wished children full recovery and noted that employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to donate blood intensively.
Over the last 10 months, each week patrol-inspectors have donated blood for children suffering from leukemia disease in various regions of the country. In the project “Donate blood, save live” Criminal police and patrol police officers are actively involved and donate blood permanently.
