Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze held working meetings in Adjara region.
The Minister met with the heads and employees of Adjara Police Department, as well as the Patrol Police Department.
Geka Geladze received information from the leadership of police units on the current situation in the direction of the fight against crime, police preventive measures and traffic safety in their operational areas.
The Minister of Internal Affairs also visited other structural units of the Ministry located in Adjara region.
Geka Geladze spoke with the employees and inspected their workspaces, equipment, and facilities.
Geka Geladze also visited Batumi International Airport, where he met border guards and employees of the Security Police Department.
The working meetings held in Adjara region were also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Roland Meskhi, Deputies - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, Mariam Tabatadze, Shalva Tadumadze and Giorgi Butkhuzi.
Within the framework of the meetings, it was once again noted that in connection with summer season, all relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are fully prepared to ensure a safe environment for both local vacationers and foreign visitors.
