Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze along with members of the Georgian government visited April 9 memorial. Minister laid wreath on memorial and commemorated those who had fallen during the dispersal of the rally on April 9 of 1989. 25 years have passed since April 9. On April 9 of 1989 Soviet troops cracked down peaceful demonstration in front of the Parliament building in Tbilisi. As a result of the clashes 21 people were killed.
